Shifa Nursing Care was started with a simple observation: Karachi has excellent hospitals, but very few structured, accountable options for patients who need ongoing care once they leave one. Families were left to find nurses through word of mouth, with no way to verify credentials, no backup if a caregiver cancelled, and no single point of contact if something went wrong mid-shift. We set out to build a home nursing care provider in Karachi that families could actually rely on, with the same accountability they would expect from a hospital, delivered at home.
Today, our team includes registered nurses, trained attendants, physiotherapists, and a 24-hour coordination desk that manages scheduling, emergencies, and shift changes. Every member of our clinical staff is screened before joining, and every placement is tracked so a supervisor always knows which nurse is with which patient, at what time, and for how long.
Our mission is to make hospital-quality treatment accessible inside the home, without families having to compromise on safety, hygiene, or clinical accuracy. We focus on three outcomes for every patient we take on: faster recovery, fewer unnecessary hospital readmissions, and genuine peace of mind for the family managing the situation from the sidelines.
